Best hotel ni. Eastern & Oriental Hotel, Penang

Assalamualaikum...

Minggu lepas hari Khamis & Jumaat ikut MrBossMan outstation ke Penang. Merasa lah overnight di sebuah hotel yang agak mewah ni. Been dreaming sejak zaman bujang dulu...'bestnya kalau dapat tido kat sini'. Dah pun dimakbulkan Allah. Syukur lah rezeki bulan puasa kot.

Nama hotel Eastern & Oriental Hotel. Hotel ni dekat Georgetown. Tak jauh dari jetty. Sekali tengok memang dah tau bangunan kolonial. Macam zaman dahulu kala sebelum merdeka! I memang suka bangunan cam gini. Haunted ke tidak? heeeeee..tapi ni kan bulan puasa. :-)

Booking pakai mobile apps Hotels.com. Senang je. Janji ada credit card :p

Our reception sebelah Heritage Wing (lama punya and more expensive as being told be the man outside reception). Upon checking, sampai dekat lobby je dah terlopong. Cantikkkkk... Besar....luas...The furniture, reception settings semua antique, elegant and expensive. Jakun okayyyyy.. Maaf. Tak boleh control. Kids lagi lah...baring terus! atas coffee table. :-/

Ada escort pulak ke bilik. Separate then the poter yang hantar beg ke bilik tau. Got to be generous with tips macam gini kan. Bila dah tunjuk bilik, siap tolong susunkan kasut dekat tepi. Waaahhh, memang kelas the hospitality. Cam gini lah bestnya jadi orang kaya-kaya ek. Layanan first class okay. Jakun kuasa dua!

and the room....

Masya Allah. Spacious and luxurious betul. We were upgraded to sea-view Suite. Boleh dengar deruan ombak. Happy Happy.

2 King bed. Walk-in wardrobe. Very big bathroom with "His" and "Her" hand basins, shower, bath tub and toilet. Ada writing desk area and dining table overlooking the Straits of Malacca. Oh yes 2 TVs, satu depan katil and the other one dekat lounge area.

When I said antique....

Cuba tengok rug, telephone, switch, couch and etc. Antique sangat kan... Even the toilet seat made of wood tau. Oh ya, worth to mention ada butler switch. Petik je switch tu...terus ada telephone ring! Tanya if you need anything? Jakun Jakun Jakun. 3-4 kali false alarm bila Idrees or Adam tekan to test it out. Malu mami!

Among the best moment. Getting ready in the walk-in wardrobe. Waahhh, rasa macam 'cantik' je diri ini. Walaupun wardrobe tu empty. Lol. Ni semua penangan berangan. Berangan la wardrobe tu I yang punya and loaded with busana indah, sepatu, beg segala maknika.

Then sahur camana?

Haaaaaa...sahur in room okay. Breakfast tu ganti dengan sahur. Mewah nya sahur dia. Nasi putih, Sup tulang, kari ikan, ayam goreng, fruits, kurma and papadom. They actually bagi complimentary for the kids. Hai hai hai...bagus kan hotel ni?

Sayang tak sempat ambil banyak gambar kenangan di persekitaran luar hotel. Cuaca agak berjerebu.

Fresco! at Jaya Grocer

Assalamualaikum..

Have you been to Fresco!? It is part of the new concept of Grocerant (groceries and restaurant) by Jaya Grocer. Sangat convenient. You choose raw meat (those with Fresco! sticker) and pass it over to the counter, choose a side dish then you just pay for the raw meat plus the side dish. Sadly there is no chicken. They have lamb, beef and fish.

There are also other items in the menu such as Pastas,Pizza, Soups, Starter & Salad. Nampak sedap je semua. We tried beef, lamb and cod fish with Aglio Alio spaghetti and mixed vege salad as the side dishes.

At the counter, they will take note how would you like your meat to be cooked. Then pay the amount. After that you will be given the number to be taken to your table so that the waiter will know to deliver the food.

Is it expensive? Well I would say it's worth the money. Maybe should go earlier not nearing 8.45pm. We were told the fish department closing around that time. And some of the side dishes already sold out. By the way, we went to the outlet in Main's Place Subang Jaya. Not so crowded. Just nice setting.

First time online shopping dekat Zalora ni. Salamat po kepada adik ipar saya Hanis Hamdan for the RM50 Voucher (she got it from DiGi). Moga sentiasa murah rezeki. Baik hati tau adik ipar i uols. Sayang ketat-ketat.

Being a gen Xer, I don't really 'trust' online shopping. Simply sebab the entire experience. I tak boleh nak pegang/rasa dulu. The seller could be a culprit. Nanti kita bayar sekali kena tipu! Pernah beberapa kali beranikan diri tried to buy dresses sekali pendek, material macam cheap sangat. Then beli seluar sekali basuh je dah tercabut benang and etc.

But, it's not all bad experience. Ada yang betul puas hati membeli.

My target is to look for Muslimah wear. Blouse, pants and tudung ke for less than RM150 in total. So lepas tolak Voucher should be RM100 and I'will be entitled for free delivery. OK, let's see what I've bought.

360 Revolving Restaurant & Sky Bar (Bayview Hotel)

Percutian ke Penang pada penghujung tahun 2013 yang baru lepas, my other half belanja makan malam sempena advance birthday dekat 360 Revolving Restaurant. Boleh baca itinerary percutian 4 hari 3 malam dengan lebih lanjut di sini dan beberapa lagi post lain seperti naik feri, dan astaka hillside. More posts to come. Ini baru aktiviti pada hari pertama di Penang. Memang I'd highly recommend that you plan your holiday properly, rasa berbaloi buat research sikit cari tempat2 menarik dan tempat makan yang sedap.

I suka ambiance kat situ. It was a nice place. Revolving lagi! 45 minutes to complete satu round. Kalau pergi siang2 sikit nak ke senja mungkin lagi superb view dia. The food pun sedap. Tak banyak sangat choice but semua sedap. The dessert sedap sangat especially caramel pudding. I memang hantu benda tu, berapa kali kot ulang makan!

We spent less than 2 hours, baru je lepas abis makan ingat nak lepak kejap dekat Sky Bar before the kids called pesan burger for supper. Yeah! Musnah dating time .... hehehhe..

Restoran Muhibbah Seafood Sungai Penchala

Semalam we all makan malam kat sini lah. Recommended by Stronglady. Bukan lah sebab nak makan pergi jauh sampai ke Sungai Penchala sana, so happened that my husband adahal nak jumpa kawan. Langsung pergi dinner.

Kalau tak biasa area sana sesat jugak la macam we all semalam. Hehehehe.. Takde dalam Waze :-( Tu lah konon hi-tech sangat nak Waze GPS bagai. Last2 call kedai tanya direction. Sampai pun! Ni Alamat dan no telefon untuk rujukan uols sesapa yang nak pergi.

Wangi aromatic tissue dia! Mereka served kacang sementara tunggu food sampai. Service tip top. Yang ambil order sabar je tunggu we all nak decide food, dengan Idrees menangis meragam sebab kejut dia dari tidur. Not long after, makanan pun dah sampai. Mungkin jugak sebab semalam tak ramai orang.

We all ordered nasi putih, tomyam campur, sayur kangkung, butter prawn dengan sotong goreng tepung. Sorry la gambar tak berapa nak sharp. Was not really my thing nak amik gmbr makanan... selalu lupa...konon tanak jadi penyumbang statistik yang kata sapa amik gambar makanan sebelum makan tu sewel. Pernah dengar tak?

Oppps, ter 'cross process' pulak gambar2 tu. Kalau nak tengok the real lighting yang gambar squid tu. Sedap sos sotong goreng tepung tu uols. The butter prawn..ahhh sedap jugak. Tomyam sedap tapi isi nye tak berapa nak ada, kedekut ke? Sayur tu size S RM9, overprice! Total semua dalam RM70++. Tak de nak comment, just nak bagi uols some idea budget makan kat sana.

Idrees yang bad mood makan kacang sampai licin. Adam borak dengan Dedi pasal lukisan kartun dia yang konon nya cantik sangat. Macam2 hal...

Today, I feel like wanting to be a product reviewer. As a reviewer, one needs to comment on the product. I was looking around for a good JD (job description) but couldn't find it. Found one so simple in here. It sounds like this "Very easy job, suitable for part-timers, students, jobless ppl, retirees, person looking for extra income.Just need to review a product on a website and match the attribute value of the product to the relevant attribute." Did you get it? I don't quite get it on the second part.

So I sendiri summarized that I would need tell about the usage, benefit, where to get it, does it good and so on. Practically give feedback about the product in which other people can gain benefit out of it.

I choose to review Tesco Online Shopping since we received Tesco ClubCard Cash Voucher. The interface is fair and I immediately know how to use it. Checked that it covered our area Putra Heights - for now only Selangor, KL and Putrajaya. As I was about to proceed further by completing the form with valid home address, I couldn't find my area in the drop down menu for suburb. Sedih!

I tried to call the customer service number (1300-13-1313) at least 3 times. Network busy? Try again the 4th time then only can get through. Was talking to the operator validating my full address. Then she asked me if I'm online at that moment. I was about to tell her "YES, I am online" and the line went dead! Frust nya. Call again, Network busy.

Mission incomplete. Till some other day cause I have a pile of clothes to fold.
